I'd love to be your buddy!

Porter is a stunning Labradoodle who is about 4 years old and weighs approximately 25 pounds.  He was a stray that ended up at a high kill shelter and was a matted, flea infested mess.  He was so bad that the shelter staff shaved him down and unfortunately they shaved his entire face!  You'll have to use your imagination to visualize how handsome he'll be when it grows out.  Porter is a gentle, docile teddy bear who's eyes speak volumes of the hard life he's had in the past.  He's a mellow boy who's coming out of his shell and thoroughly enjoying all the TLC he's getting.  This poor guy is pretty emaciated but his hearty appetite is making up for missed meals.  Porter loves to go for walks and is great on a leash.  We have a pretty good idea how he got lost - he can jump a fence like it wasn't there.  Those long graceful legs must have springs in them!  Any home he goes into is going to have to have at least a 10 foot fence.  He's a friendly guy with strangers and gets along well with other dogs.  This special boy will make a wonderful companion.
