I'd love to be your buddy!

Elle is a beautiful Havanese/Maltese mix who's about 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds.  Elle, along with 4 others, was taken in from a backyard breeder in Palmdale and all were in deplorable condition.  These poor dogs were never socialized nor have been on a leash.  Elle is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs about 14 pounds.  She's a timid girl who initially is very nervous around strangers, but after a couple of pets, she starts wagging her little tail and hesitantly inches forward for more love.  Her personality at this point is hard to determine as she's still adjusting from a life of neglect and isolation and it will take love, nurturing and socialization to help her true personality blossom.  She was probably never groomed in her life judging by the severity of the matting.  She'll be beautiful when her hair grows back in.  Elle does not know how to walk on a leash and needs to go to a home WITH ANOTHER DOG as she will quickly learn from another pet to trust people become a cherished member of the family.  Her comfort level is with another dog.  Please DO NOT inquire unless you have another dog.  If you are up for the challenge of teaching a dog how to walk on a leash and have the patience to housebreak, please fill out the adoption application on bichonsandbuddies.com.  The joy and fulfillment you'll receive from watching her blossom will be worth the effort.
