I'd love to be your buddy!

Gordy is a super affectionate Poodle/Whippet mix (to the best of our estimation:) who's about 3 years old and weighs approximately 11 pounds.  Poor Gordy's story is a tear-jerker.  Animal Regulation picked him up on the side of the road out in Riverside where he was sitting next to his dead friend, a yorkie, who had gotten hit by a car! :(((  Gordy was a matted dirty mess and could barley move in his straightjacket.  The shelter shaved him down so you'll have to look past his naked state right now and imagine how handsome he'll be once his beautiful coat grows back in a couple of months.  This demur, mellow guy is still a little timid and adjusting to the dramatic changes in his life.  He's very affectionate and when you pick him up he'll wrap his skinny little legs around you and hold on for dear life.  Gordy is gentle and gets along well with other dogs and kids.  He's ready to leave his sad past behind and begin a new chapter in his life.
